And innocence thy Sister dear!
No white nor red was ever seen
So am'rous as this lovely green."
Excerpt from the poem, The Garden by Andrew Marvel.
I am lucky enough to have three amazing sisters. One of them is an interior and garden designer. Her name is Kristine Wahlberg (no website- I must get on her for that!). She's such a talent! She designed my garden a few years ago and this year, especially, it seems to be reveling in all its green glory. Thank you, Kriss, for this enchanting place that I love.
How lucky are you to have a sister that knows how to put a garden together. It looks like a wonderful place to sit and just enjoy. Just found your blog today. It's nice to meet you. Hope you will visit me some day. Take care.

Donna, your yard is fantastic. Sharon says that she will be moving in soon. She says a little cottage in the back will be just fine....you'll never know that she is there. We have seen many beautiful gardens throughout the USA and France, yours is by far the best we have ever seen. It is spectacular.

What a beautiful garden you have!!! Your sister did a fabulous job designing it, and it all looks so natural....not man made at all! Thank you for sharing pictures of it with us. :)

You and your sister really pulled off a magic trick. This has to be the most beautiful garden I have ever seen. You are the luckiest girl. Can I come join you there for pretend tea?
