When I clicked to make the painting larger I realized how well your new belle matches the decor of your home. What a sweet face! Adore the prints too. Does your good luck Mom read your blog? I would like to know if she found any treasure for herself or if her charms just work for you.

When you stopped by I was just coming to visit you!
Have a great day-night!

Hello, I love your beautiful picture. My mother Mary is Corey's Godmother and I have heard alot about you from them. You so inspired
us that we took on quite a undertaking, but a very fun one to say the least. We made 28 crowns. We
bought the crown book that Ulla and
Nicole are in. I can't wait to make
some more. Talking about lucky charms that would have to be my mom too. Today down at our little thrift store I found the most wonderful little round antique gold frame with daisies on it and
guess whats on the top? A perfect
little crown!!!!!We alway get are
self in trouble when we shop together, not really.

Trish

I think maybe you and your Mom and the other good hunters and gatherers out there are just good at listening to your wee little guides who prod each of us along to the locations of the things we truly desire- which in my case is often aged tatting and papers. Congratulations on a hunting trip to remember. Trish

dawn

Lovely treasures and they are even more special because you will always remember that you found them while with your mom! My little girl is my good luck charm. Now that she is five she loves to find all of the pretties with her mama - lucky me!

Gillian

OH Shmoopey

I'm back... I've been thinking about your question, and with further musing... I realize that who ever I am with, when shopping, if we are having fun... that is the lucky charm, the fun and the love or friendship shared in the shopping. I was lucky to be taught this first by my parents, especially my dad. He helped me pick out my senior prom dress! Sax Fifth Avenue in San Francisco, how cool is that! And it is my most favorite party dress memory to this day...

Mélanie

What a wonderful treasures . I want to go to " chiner" with your mum too !!! Lucky you you have her

Lea

What great treasures! Especially shopping with your mom! When I thought about your question... I would have to say my dad is my lucky shopping charm!

Flea Market Queen

Oh Donna...You found the most fabulous treasures! I love the print, she is stunning! So glad your lucky charm was with you...

You truly did hit the mother lode, I especially love those engravings/prints(they speak to me)!!! I must be going to all the wrong places because I NEVER find such amazing items in the East Bay.
I think the best part is that at 84 your Mom can still spend the day out doing those things with you. I miss my Mom AND the times we could do that at one time. So you all the way around you definitely had a good luck day!

Donna....

Kimberlee

Ulla

You do indeed have a lucky charm in your pocket! Love your finds!!! Can't wait to see what you'll create with those wonderful prints! Hugs!!!

colleen

I wanna shop with your momma!! When is the next trip ;-)???

Alexia

Yes, you totally scored- the painting is just gorgeous! I know what you mean about the shopping with your Mom. My Mom and I always find the best stuff together. Also, my Mom encourages me to get things that I know i'd regret later if I left them behind. She says things like "You know, that would look really good in your kitchen..."

Miss Maddie's

What a treasure trove! The portrait with the pastoral background makes my heart skip a beat. And the images, wow.To have combined all that with an outing with your mom made it a wonderful day.I think you better check if she's carrying a wee horseshoe in her pocketbook.(the Irish in us brings the luck, the Scots we are thrifty and won't throw nothing out) From up here in the highlands, Susan
