Playing hooky can be a good thing. Black Floral Wreath from Tail of the Yak.
Ribbons, Napoleonic Bees, Crescent Moon and a Thistle.......
.....and Fabulous old Drapery Rods, all from Addison Endpapers.
But the best by far was the company and lunch with Ulla (and not because she paid- ha!). Great weather, lucky parking spots, just the best day. Thank you, Ulla.
Now it's back to work so I can pay for everything! Catch up with you all in a day or two.
What great loot!

I want everything I see at Tail of the Yak! Even if it's something I'll never use...it is hard to resist capturing a bit of their artistic magic. Their antique jewelry is particularly beautiful and unusual. Your collar is quite the find, Donna!

I'm in a dusty old attic, sorting through trunks and boxes for an upcoming auction and you're out with Ulla at the Tail of the Yak! Now I might have to think for a moment on who was having more fun?
Shopping and lunch with a good friend that's pretty hard to top!
I was sharing my space with a ghost. I wonder if it was her Edwardian pale cream, satin wedding dress I found hanging in an old wardrobe? Stay tuned!
Have a great weekend!
