Pieces I'm working on for the Tinsel and Treasures Folk Art Show, September 10th!! I'm looking forward to completing a few of my "mannequin keepers". It's been a while!!!I remember making the first one two years ago and thinking, "Wow- I think I came up with a winner here!" I was so proud of the uniqueness. Using the dress form as a way to display treasures tucked inside was perfect, and really gave me a feeling of imaginative, artistic accomplishment. You know, that old validation thing and following your own creative path. Liking the potential of the glittered one. It looks like an old metal chest plate. And then with a coat of arms maybe? Yes!
Love the ballet shoes, too. Really fun to work on these! All a work-in-progress : )
